Round2 wird demnächst alte und neue Star Wars Kits produzieren.

Round 2 relased a series of videos to promote their 2021 product line as a part of a virtual Toy Fair. Jamie Hood discusses the Star Wars license about 5 and a half minutes into this vide. He indicates that they will be reissuing vintage Star Wars kits, as well as new kits. The video states that they can produce products from all the Star Wars universe.

Da bin ich mal gespannt, ob etwas "Neues" kommt. Denn die alten Kits... ehm.. die brauche ich nicht. Die hatte ich schon als Kind zusammen geschustert und die waren meines Erachtens nicht wirklich so hervorragend.

Ja in Zeiten wo die Fine Molds Kits schon "old Stuff" sind und es Bandai auch schon ne Zeit gibt braucht keiner wohl wirklich mehr die alten AMT/Ertl Kits oder?

Aber vielleicht sind ja Kitbashing-Bausätze dabei (amt-Trucks und der DV-Tie-Fighter = ILM-Tie-Bomber)

Die Bausätze von Round2 werden wohl nur in Nordamerika verkauft.

The folks at Disney, who own the license for Star Wars, have regrettably not issued an extended license for the kits outside of North America thus meaning that we will not be able to import and sell the MPC/AMT range of Star Wars plastic kits as they will be unlicensed products.

We have no option but to cancel all pre-orders and all of the above items will be removed from our website.

Sorry, irgendwie diesen Thread völlig übersehen.

Also den Tie Fighter Advanced von Darth Vader in 1/32 würde ich mir alleine aus Gründen der Sentimentalität zulegen.

Wird es den auch in Deutschland geben?
Ich fand das Design schon immer cool und fäde einen erschwinglichen Bausatz hier in Deutschland prima. 1:72 wäre natürlich noch besser, aber 1:144 ist ein Anfang.
