Eine Walküre in diesem Anstrich ist Fiktion, daher ist das Modell als "What-if" statt "Anime & Mecha" kategorisiert. Aber die Idee ist nicht weit hergeholt, denn viele kanonische Lackierungen der VF-1 und späterer Typen orientieren sich stark an realen Vorbildern, vorneweg die US Navy in den Achtzigern, aber es gibt in offiziellen Quellenbüchern auch Adaptionen anderer realer Tarnungen/Anstriche. Insofern ist eine VF-1 im schwedischen Viggen-Anstrich ("Fields & Meadows") gar nicht einmal so weit weg vom Möglichen...  Und es steht der Walküre m.E. sogar sehr gut!

Das Modell selber ist eine Vintage-VF-1A in 1:100 von ARII aus den frühen 80ern, mittlerweil etwas staubig und leicht modifiziert/aufgepeppt z. B. mit zus. Antennen, einem Piloten im Cockpit, improvisierten Waffenlasten sowie einem (wegretuschierten) Eigenbau-Display.
