Anime & Mecha 1:100 VF-1J MLU "Valkyrie" ...und sie ist grün!

Alle Jubeljahre überkommt es mich, und ich krame eine kleine, alte ARII-VF-1 aus dem Vorrat und betreibe kreatives Entspannen (nachdem ich kürzlich bei einem 100-Jahre-RAF-Group Build acht Modelle in Serie "abgewickelt" habe). Diese hier ist nichts Spektakuläres - tatsächlich ist die Design-Idee ca. 20 Jahre alt: als ich im/nach dem Studium in einem Malerbetrieb ausgeholfen habe, bin ich im Großhandel über eine Lackdose RAL 1000 gestolpert. Kann man getrost als "Popelgrün" bezeichnen. Und damals hatt ich schon die Idee: "Eine VF-1 entstellt nichts, auch nicht diese Farbe. Muss ich einmal ausproboeren...". Na ja, hat etwas gedauert bis dahin, aber hier das Ergebnis:

Der Bausatz ist fast OOB gebaut, hat aber ein paar "Upgrades" erhalten - so ist z.B. das IRST vor dem Cockpit authentisch, die Zusatzbehälter an den Beinen auch, auch wenn die Form im Original bauchiger ist. Außerdem habe ich dem Modell (wieder) einen meiner Standard-Draht-Displays für diese VF-1-Modell verpasst, was auch die Bilder erleichtert hat.
Das Schema wurde inspiriert von einer VF-1 aus einem Quellenbuch, auch wenn diese Blau als Grundfarbe hat. Der Grundanstrich wurde mit dem Pinsel gemacht, die ganzen Zierlinien  aber mit generischem Decal-Material in Weiß und Grün gestaltet. Die Staffelabzeichen sind fiktiv, so stammen die Kleeblätter von einer 1:72 Ki-61 von Hasegawa und der Code "ET" von einer RAF SEPECAT Jaguar (Xtradecal).

Hm, für RAL 1000 ziemlich grün, eigentlich sollte das Grün/Beige sein. Aber ich finde die Lackierung super... eine VF-1 entstellt tatsächlich nichts.
